Stade de Reims’ Marshall Munetsi is attracting interest from Premier League and Championship clubs, according to Foot Mercato.
The 26-year-old Zimbabwean international is one of Ligue 1’s most underrated holding midfielders. Having arrived from South African outfit Orlando Pirates in 2019, Munetsi has played 76 games with Reims since, scoring seven goals. Three of those came this season, including an all-important game-winning goal against relegation-battlers Ajaccio on matchday 18. Munetsi’s stock has risen of late, as Reims’ unbeaten streak under 30-year-old Belgian manager William Still continues since his appointment on October 13th following Óscar García’s dismissal.

Foot Mercato are reporting that seventeenth-placed Premier League outfit Bournemouth are keen on his signing. Meanwhile, Championship sides Watford and Burnley are also said to closely monitoring Munetsi’s situation. The 26-year-old extended his contract with Les Rouges et Blanc last summer, tying down to a contract due to expire in 2026. Transfermarkt value the Reims’ stalwart at around €5m.
