CAPE TOWN – In-form Zimbabwe have named for Under-20 players in the starting line-up for Friday’s Currie Cup First Division clash with SWD Eagles in George.

The young players are being rewarded with recognition following their eye-catching performances in Kenya last month, where they helped Zimbabwe clinch the Under-20 African title after beating rivals Namibia in the final.

The Young Sables’ captain, Taku Musingwini, and speedster Tavonga Ablant (pictured, with the ball), keep their positions in the starting line-up for Friday after impressing in the 18-8 win over Boland last week. The two Zimbabwe Under-20 stars, who have been offered university scholarships in the United States, start at flyhalf and left-wing for the senior side just like last week.

Two more Young Sables makes the starting line-up, fullback Tawanda Matipano and right-wing Brendon Marume.

US-based hooker Brian Muntanga will come off the bench while ex-University of Cape Town maestro Nyasha Tarusenga gets rested for the weekend.
