HARARE – Dynamos have appointed Herbert Maruwa as new coach after the Zimbabwean football giants relieved Tonderai Ndiraya of his duties when they decided against renewing his contract at the end of the just ended season.

Ndiraya was let go by Dynamos after failing to deliver the league title again for the Hararians, watching agonisingly as FC Platinum clinched a fourth PSL championship for the fourth successive time.

New coach Maruwa, highly rated but inexperienced at the highest level of club football in Zimbabwe, joins the Glamour Boys after being fired by Black Rhinos mid-season in July.

“The Club has with immediate effect appointed Mr Herbert Maruwa as Head Coach of the senior team. His assistants will be announced in due course. The club would like to wish Mr Maruwa success in his new placement,” said Dynamos spokesman Tinashe Farawo in a statement on Tuesday.
